Finding the hotel was quite challenging, especially with a rental car. We had GPS, but it led us in circles, resulting in a frustrating 45-minute detour. Additionally, the room felt cramped, which might be expected for a historic home, but it did affect our overall comfort during the stay.

Noise from the nearby room can be quite disruptive due to thin doors, making it tough to get a good night's sleep. Additionally, navigating the area proved tricky. even with GPS, the narrow, winding roads led to frustration, and winter weather didn’t help the situation.

I stayed with my brother and my girlfriend for about a week and the experience was surreal, we even found a few farm animals wandering around the hotel which made for some good laughs and nice moments. Had the best breakfasts every morning, fresh fruits and local cheeses that just hit the spot, and I still can’t forget the amazing views of the valley while relaxing by the pool.

It wasn’t exactly inexpensive but frankly, worth every penny.

We just loved this place! The views are seriously out of this world, and the staff was super helpful. We enjoyed our breakfast on the terrace, and it was the perfect start to our day. The only thing was that finding our way there took a while, but once we did, it was totally worth it!

It was just a smart choice for a relaxing holiday in Sintra with good value for price. We felt like royalty enjoying breakfast in a beautifully decorated dining area that truly set the mood. Just keep in mind that access might require some effort if roads are closed due to weather conditions.
